Work Place Questionairre
This is my score
★Your score is 60 on a scale of 0 to 100 = Preference for Need for Certainty
★Your scores indicate that you have a moderate Need for Certainty and might prefer job security to a more entrepreneurial job opportunity.
★In countries/cultures with a Need for Certainty, organizations have a preference for strong codes of behaviors and management practices and tolerate less deviation from them; they tend to support their employees on the job.
★ If you work in countries such as Sweden, Denmark, or the United States, where there is a higher Tolerance for Ambiguity, you might react by seeking out situations in which there is a higher level of job security and loyalty to the organization is rewarded.
★In countries/cultures with a Tolerance for Ambiguity, conflict in organizations is perceived as natural, and rules may be broken for pragmatic reasons. You might feel yourself under attack if the level of conflict rose above your threshold.
I compared with Japan and Canada.

First of all, I shake hands when greeting it. I think that the meaning of the handshake is Nice to meet you. However, when shaking hands, I make it only to the friends and this generation. when bow, I make it higher ranking people. I think shaking hands is very friendry. Therefore, I think it is very impolite if shaking hands with higher ranking people. So I am using it properly by the person.
Next I think that the Japanese is hated to be able to touch the body. Japanese are very shy. Therefore, the Japanese doesn't embrace each other me mutually and it is in the scene where it kisses the cheek seeing. I was surprised to see the appearance to kiss the cheek when the foreigner greeted it for the first time.

1. How is your daily life affected by Buddhism? What do you do and why do you do it?
I think that The Buddhism influences our life very much. Especially young peoples pursue appetite, beauty, health. So, we attention to Zen meditation and breathing method, a fast of the Buddhism, vegetarian cooking.
Why does the Buddhist eat vegetarian cooking? It is because killing is forbidden in the Buddhism. I eat vegetarian cooking by all means on the day of the funeral.
In addition, We have an event of ringing bells on New Year's Eve on December 31 in Japan. I completed the last night of one year, and various events have been performed in a meaning to spare the year that passed for from old days. 108 times of ringing bells on New Year's Eve are tiring in several temples on reaching new age in that. Then why will be it that it points out 108 times of ringing bells on New Year's Eve. Three time of past, present, and future affects it and become 36 ×3=108.
